Our Leadership & Assembly Board of Directors

Board of Directors

Together: Building A Strong Community

Board of Directors

Scott Rogers, Board Advisor

Scott Rogers serves as the dedicated Executive Director of ABCCM, a dynamic faith-based organization boasting a network of over 260 congregations and 3600 volunteers. In his role, Scott leads a compassionate community effort that touches the lives of over 40,000 neighbors in need. ABCCM, under Scott's guidance, strategically focuses on select Ministries crucial to the community, providing essential care and support. Beyond immediate assistance, Scott envisions and implements initiatives that create transformative opportunities for individuals to make a lasting impact, whether it be on someone's life or addressing systemic issues such as building bridges out of poverty. With a commitment to community well-being, Scott Rogers exemplifies leadership that goes beyond charity, aiming for sustained positive change in the lives of those ABCCM serves.

Vickie Craighead-Davis Founder & Executive Director

Vickie Craighead-Davis is a housing retention leader in Charlotte-Mecklenburg committed to ensuring that people who exit homelessness stay housed. With experience across emergency shelter, Homeless Day Service Centers, Rapid Re-Housing, veteran housing programs, and stabilization services, she has supported individuals and families through organizations including Roof Above, ABCCM, Charlotte Family Housing, and veteran-focused housing retention initiatives.

After identifying a persistent system gap—rising housing placements without sufficient retention support—Vickie founded Building Hope Building Commitment (BHBC) to strengthen post-placement stabilization, crisis response, and community-based housing support. Under her leadership, BHBC operates a retention-first model with a 98% housing retention rate, demonstrating that keeping people housed is both more effective and more cost-efficient than responding after housing loss.

Vickie leads BHBC’s place-based and faith-engaged stabilization work in partnership with BDP Impact and Community Solutions, aligning services with by-name data, rapid response, and measurable outcomes—particularly for Veterans and working households at risk of displacement.

BHBC’s impact is powered by more than 40 trained volunteers, activated through faith and community partnerships to respond quickly during crises and prevent homelessness before it occurs.

Vickie’s leadership is grounded in a clear belief:

housing retention is the true measure of success—and the foundation for stability, dignity, and thriving communities.
